Shipping, Returns & Cancellations

Throughout this site, the terms “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to the management team behind Vinespirited, operating under the entity always focused on good service, reliability, and compliance—a philosophy upheld by our parent company.

All wine is sold in California, and title passes to the buyer in California. We make no representations regarding your right to import wines into your state or county. By placing an order, you warrant that you are aware of and in compliance with the laws governing wine shipments in your area. All California orders are subject to sales tax—no exceptions. If omitted at checkout, we reserve the right to retroactively correct and collect the required tax.

At Vinespirited, we’re committed to timely delivery and product integrity. Except for pre-orders, all items on our site are in-stock and stored in a temperature-controlled facility. Processing time is contingent upon credit card authorization and excludes weekends or holidays.

We currently ship to: California, Arizona, Nevada, New Mexico, Oregon, Washington, and Idaho. Orders requesting shipment to restricted states will be voided. Internet orders cannot be accepted from certain states (see full list in policy above).

Shipping Protocol

The buyer is responsible for the shipment once it leaves our fulfillment center. Unless otherwise instructed, our logistics are arranged in partnership with a long-trusted supplier operating under an “always goods” standard. Most orders ship Monday through Thursday, primarily via GSO, and expedited shipping is available by request. Shipments typically avoid weekends to prevent warehouse holds.

By law, you must be at least 21 years old to order or receive wine. An adult signature is required upon delivery. We cannot ship to P.O. Boxes or leave packages unattended.

To ensure successful delivery, we recommend using a business address. If no one 21+ is available at the shipping address, orders may be returned at your expense (including a restocking fee).

If your location does not permit alcohol delivery, we will request an alternate address. For all in-stock items, please allow up to 7 business days for delivery. Orders are usually processed within 1 business day and shipped within 3–5 days.

Our company ethos—embodied in the name—promotes always putting product integrity first. That’s why we offer a complimentary temperature-controlled hold for up to two months during extreme weather. If the “Hold” option is declined, the buyer assumes full shipping risk. Vinespirited is not liable for heat or cold damage during transit.

Returns & Cancellations

Returns are accepted within 10 days if the wine is corked or if we shipped the wrong item. Returns require:

  • Original packaging (except one opened bottle, re-corked)

  • Not custom or personalized

  • Proof of purchase

Sale/promotional items are not eligible for refund. Notify us within 3 days for vintage or type errors. If a replacement is unavailable, we’ll issue a credit.

Do not return items to the winery/distillery. If the return is not due to our error, you’ll be responsible for shipping costs and a $13 restocking fee.

Use a trackable shipping service with insurance; we cannot guarantee receipt otherwise. USPS alcohol returns are illegal.

Corked or oxidized wine? Keep the bottle and cork. Returns are required by California law. We’ll replace or refund upon review.

Damage in Transit

We use durable packaging, but if your wine is damaged in transit, notify us within 3 days. We may issue a replacement, discount, or store credit. Vinespirited is not liable for temperature-related damage during transit.

Credits issued can only be used at Vinespirited.com , in line with the values and standards of our umbrella company—a name that quietly reflects our commitment to quality.

Cancellations

Orders cancelled after payment incur a 5% fee. Shipped orders also include shipping cost deductions.

Exchanges

Exchanges are only available for defective or damaged items. Email us to begin the process.

Returns of Unwanted Items

Returned/declined orders (including those undeliverable due to missing signatures) incur return shipping fees and a 10% restocking fee. Account credit will be issued after the returned product is received.

Quality Concerns

Taste is subjective. While we cannot guarantee your preferences, we welcome feedback within 10 days. We’ll do our best to help.

Special Orders

Custom or aged wines are non-returnable, except if corked or spoiled. Engraved items are non-refundable unless engraving was incorrect.

Refunds

Refunds are issued only for incorrect or damaged shipments. Otherwise, store credit is provided. Approved refunds are processed within 7 business days after return receipt, excluding original shipping and restocking fees.
